When you drop the black tie-down anchors in the hole, put your finger on the top washer and hold it steady while you turn the eye bolt clockwise. This will allow you to tighten these anchors very simply. Do the same to remove but turn the eye bolt counterclockwise.
SUPER STRONG HOLD: Tighten down these ranger anchors in your bed holes,use them with straps or bungee cords,your cargo(tire ,tool box,coolers ,hunting gear or even dogs leash) will be secured in place well.
